Note: It is a requirement to get an initial and annual checkouts in the club planes with one of the club CFI's authorized for initial checkouts listed above. They know the airplanes and club rules, and can provide the best introduction.
All other training can be performed with any of the approved instructors on the Club Authorized CFI list above. CFI's are not allowed to teach in club aircraft without first being approved by the club. Prospective members or present members that wish to learn from a CFI not on the above list may have their chosen CFI complete the non-club CFI application: hfc_NonClubCFIApp4.pdf. This application, along with an interview from two club instructors is required for approval.
